World Pharma 2010

For this IUPHAR congress, basic and clinical pharmacology have come together again to encompass the whole process of drug development from molecular biology to clinical practice. Here, the world’s basic and clinical pharmacologists and all those dealing with the development and use of drugs will meet to discuss how we can work together to meet the need for safe and effective medicines at affordable prices.

WorldPharma2010 provides in depth treatment of the hottest topics. The programme is based on 18 focused conferences with a slate of top-level speakers throughout. In addition, the programme offers world-class plenary lectures, as well as a range of workshops and sponsored symposia.

We are pleased to inform you that we have now received about 3000 abstracts for the 16th World Congress of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology, WorldPharma2010. We are therefore well on track for ensuring that WorldPharma2010 will indeed be the significant event for both basic and clinical pharmacology that we have promised.

The facility for submission of normal abstracts is now closed, but a facility for Late Breaking abstracts will open on 15 February. Early Bird registration is 15 March.
