Welcome to AstraZeneca’s career fair, 4-5 May 2011
In spring 2010, the international pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca announced a global restructuring plan. As a result, their respiratory and inflammation R&D facilities for in the university town of Lund in Southern Sweden (Skåne) will be moved to Gothenburg by 2012. This decision presents a unique opportunity for companies around the world to take advantage of a unique location with outstanding resources.
AstraZeneca is organising the second edition of a career fair event next May 4-5 to welcome potential employers to the outstanding personal available. The first edition held in January 2011 welcomed 76 companies.
Invest in Skåne, the Swedish organisation promoting Medicon Valley has mapped and profiled AstraZeneca’s competence base to facilitate new engagements and support companies interested in investing in the region.
