AWARDS FOR DANISH GAMES
Jan. 28, 2010 | Topic: Creative and entertainmentDanish educational games and a graduation game from the game school is honoured abroad.
Indications are that the crisis of the Danish game market is declining.
Moreover the Danish game developer Serious Games just recently received an international award for the school game series “Global Conflicts”, and a graduation game from the game school DADIU was nominated to Independent Games Festival – the games’ answer to the movies’ Sundance Festival.
Become wise while you play
Last week the game “Global Conflicts: Palestine” won the so-called BETT Award and is consequently selected one of the best digital educational tools globally. The prize is awarded once a year to the best digital products designed for the educational market at the world’s largest educational and technology fair BETT in London.
Graduation game among the best in the world
Danish educational games are also in the international league, as the Danish game school DADIU this year for the third consecutive year has received a nomination from Independent Games Festival in the USA for one of their graduation games.
The game “Puzzle Bloom” is one out of ten selected educational games in the category Student Showcase selected among 190 different games sent in and produced by game schools all over the world.
