DANISH-KOREAN BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
The Danish Minister for Business and Growth, Ole Sohn, recently met with the President of Korea to discuss opportunities for commercial cooperation.The President of Korea, Lee Myong-Bak, is strongly emphasizing green growth as a part of the country’s future growth strategy, writes the official website of the Ministry for Business and Growth.
Contemporary Korea carries the image of an innovative nation with a focus on green technologies and design. This opens a numbers business opportunities for Denmark, as Korea considers Danish companies to be pioneers in renewable energy and sustainable solutions.
- I see great potential for cooperation and we are experiencing a significant interest from Danish companies in the Korean market. 77 Danish enterprises participate in this business campaign in Korea. That is the largest business delegation so far in Korea, says Ole Sohn.
The agreement focuses on innovation projects, international legislation and incentives to encourage shipping and maritime business.
