Maria is Business Development Manager in the Cleantech unit. She works with building up the International Cleantech Network (ICN) between cleantech clusters around the world with the purpose of attracting more international companies to Copenhagen. Furthermore, she is responsible for Copenhagen Capacity’s and Copenhagen Cleantech Cluster’s Smart Cities efforts.

Maria holds a master degree in Economic Geography from University of Copenhagen and a bachelor in Socio economic geography. During her studies she has also developed her competencies by studying innovation and project management on Copenhagen Business school. 
Before joining Copenhagen Capacity Maria worked at the Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, where she was focusing on innovations policy on a national and regional level, service innovation, and building up innovation networks between Danish stakeholders.

In her leisure Maria spends time with her husband and their two kids. They do hunting, running and enjoy the nature. Furthermore, she gets a lot of her energy by travelling to destinations far away, either together with her family, friends or colleagues.
