AMCHAM DENMARK'S 2ND ANNUAL FOREIGN INVESTORS SUMMIT
In 2007, Denmark continued to receive global praise for its economy and its business climate, and was internationally recognized as the “happiest place on earth”.But is this praise resulting in more and higher quality investments into Denmark?
What exactly will it take to convince foreign companies to build on current investments or make new ones?
AmCham Denmark, in partnership with Copenhagen Capacity and Invest in Denmark, is pleased to hold its 2nd annual Foreign Investors Summit to probe the minds of foreign companies doing business here, and to find out why some companies are choosing to invest elsewhere. Additionally, the 2008 Summit will focus on how to build future competences to ensure foreign companies continue to bring their investments, skills and innovations into the Danish economy, creating jobs and sustaining competitiveness. Not to mention keeping everyone happy.
Summit speakers include:
-
Kristian Jensen – Danish Minister for Taxation, Ministry for Taxation
-
Jacob Dencik – Strategy Consultant, IBM Global Business Services - Plant Location International (IBM-PLI)
-
Jens Lundsgaard – Senior Economist, Head of the Sweden/Denmark desk, OECD
-
Karsten Fogh Ho-Lanng – Corporate Vice President, CTO, NNIT
The 2008 Summit will be opened by U.S. Ambassador to Denmark James P. Cain and NCC Property Development CEO Nikolaj Hertel. Furthermore, the Chamber has engaged DR2 news anchor Martin Breum to moderate the summit's panel discussion, get to the root of the issues and identify solutions.
