The Øresund Region offers the best of both countries and is the human capital of Scandinavia.Collaboration between the region's universities, industries and government – known as the Triple Helix – makes it one of Europe’s most attractive knowledge-based regions. The region's 12 universities and colleges have 150,000 students and more than 12,000 researchers. The region is home to much of Denmark's and Sweden's human capital and ranks high in regards to competitiveness, business climate, investments, IT penetration, science and, not least, quality of life.
