CULTURE AND ATTRACTIONS

The area has a long history as an inhabited area and has been inhabited since the Stone Age because of the fertile lands and fresh water supply.

Solrød's most visited attraction is the coastline, with beach stretching all along the municipality.

The coastline offers rich opportunity for yachting and swimming. Along the shore, scenic beauty and a rich bird life and flora can be enjoyed in Stauning Island, the bogland and Trylleskoven Wood.

The Solrød municipality has a rich cultural life and plenty of sports and cultural clubs.
