Symphogen Elected as Denmark’s Best Biotech Company

Symphogen A/S, who focuses on development of a novel type of drugs based on antibodies, has won the title of best growth company in the biotech business at the Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year competition.

The company's technology is based on recombinant polyclonal antibodies, a new class of biopharmaceuticals for the treatment of serious human diseases, e.g. cancer.

"The company has potential to develop a range of pharmaceuticals, which could not only secure sky-high earnings but also create so far unseen possibilities and results within the medical industry". This was among the jury's reasons for pointing to Symphogen as the winner.

Symphogen's business model involves co-development and marketing partnerships with other biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies around its products and its proprietary antibody discovery and manufacturing platforms.
