Biotech Boom in Medicon Valley

The Medicon Valley biotech industry has matured to such an extent that an impressive 11 companies are considering an IPO within the coming three years. A big part of the companies will be Danish, but the IPO's will also include Swedish companies.

According to an investigation from Sunstone Capital the stock exchange will be crowded in the coming years. Medicon Valley biotech is doing so well that 3 companies are planning an IPO in 2008, 6 companies expect an IPO in 2009 and at least 2 companies are heading towards an IPO in 2010.
