2cureX is a novel drug discovery company that integrates chemical diversity and biological complexity to rapidly generate advanced drug candidates for the treatment of cancer.

2cureX presents a new process bringing patient disease-tissue to the very front-end of drug discovery. The patient material is guiding the selection of efficacious drug candidates and associated molecular targets. The core technologies of 2cureX have been developed in the laboratories at the Carlsberg Research Centre in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The therapeutic focus of 2cureX is oncology with special focus on colon cancer, which is supported by a comprehensive scientific network of University hospitals in Denmark.

2cureX is engaged in product focused cancer programs that have generated valuable lead candidates. The most progressed compound possesses attractive ex vivo efficacy in colon cancer tissue from patients, and it shows no functional activity in corresponding healthy tissue from the same patients. In vivo activity has been confirmed in animal models of an aggressive colon cancer.

The method exploits full diversity in the chemical libraries and in the target-space. It allows the concurrent determination of lead compounds and associated druggable targets.

The 2cureX technology has developed both peptidomimetic and small-molecule lead compounds. The company's initial focus is peptidomimetic compounds interacting with intracellular targets.
