Medicon Valley Alliance
Medicon Valley Alliance (MVA) is a regional Swedish/Danish member organisation. MVA's 260 members are biotech and medtech companies, pharma companies, all relevant university faculties and hospitals, as well as service providers and public organisations in the Øresund region.
Unique organising capacity
MVA is unique in acting as a regional organising capacity with a large number of visionary private and public member organisations. As such, MVA is probably the most visible regional network organisation in Europe. Supported by its members, MVA can act as a single specialist organisation to improve the conditions for creating, transferring and exploiting knowledge in the Medicon Valley region.
Network creation and knowledge transfer
MVA strengthens network creation and knowledge transfer amongst Medicon Valley's players through the following activities:
- interdisciplinary and specific networks
- conferences
- seminars
- regional and international marketing of Medicon Valley
- knowledge gathering and databases
- collaborations with other bioregions
MVA influences the development and opinions of decision-makers at regional and national level through analyses of the region and comparison with international best practice, as well as via strategic communication. All employees in member organisations have access to MVA services and activities.
