Medicon Valley Alliance
Medicon Valley Alliance (MVA) has a strong network and an extensive database of contacts in Medicon Valley within academia, public health, and the medtech and biotech related industries. The organisation works to promote the necessary interaction between these players and the political environment as well as publicising the region.
MVA's different activities all jointly aim to bring together scientists and/or company managers in Medicon Valley - with the objective of creating increased knowledge transfer and the formation of networks between companies, universities and health sectors in the region.
MVA arranges seminars and conferences, as well as initiating and coordinating projects associated with educational, scientific and business activities in the region. MVA also sets up and manages comprehensive knowledge databases. Moreover, MVA works both regionally and nationally to strengthen contacts and partnerships with opinion leaders and political decision makers. In addition, MVA has initiated a range of working groups to analyse regional competences within specific subject areas. The organisation also organises various information and contact events for members of the association and contributes to the regional and international marketing of Medicon Valley.
